To start selling, create an account on Equipment Garage Sale. Once your account is set up, fill out the seller form for each item you’d like to list. You’ll need to provide:
Your desired price
A description of the item and its features
The condition of the equipment
High-quality photos
You’ll need to include a detailed description, the condition (honestly noting any wear and tear), high-quality photos, and a price. This helps buyers understand exactly what they’re getting.
Listing fees depend on the value of your equipment and are charged for a 3-month period. The fees are:
Up to $10,000 worth of equipment: $25
$10,000 – $50,000 worth of equipment: $50
$50,000 – $100,000 worth of equipment: $75
$100,000+ worth of equipment: $100
Optional Boost for increased visibility:
Up to $50,000: +$15
$50,000 – $100,000: +$25
$100,000+: +$35
Boosting promotes your listing, making it more visible to potential buyers. This gives your equipment extra exposure and can help you sell faster! If you want to attract more attention, boosting is a great option.
Each listing remains active for three months. If your item hasn’t sold by then, you can relist it at no additional charge.
The listing fee is required upfront before your equipment is posted on the platform. Once you’ve submitted your listing and completed the payment, your item will go live.
Yes! You can update your listing at any time—whether you need to adjust the price, add more photos, or modify the description.
Once your equipment sells, you’ll be notified. The buyer will complete the payment through our secure system, and you’ll coordinate shipping or pickup.
